Trespassers Will is a Vancouver-based rock band. Formed from the writing duo of Ashley Robyn (lead vocals, rhythm guitar) and Derek van Deursen (drums, vocals) Trespassers Will blends powerful alt. rock with soul, folk, and indie styles. Mixing ethereal melodies and heartfelt lyrics with fiery rhythms and sweeping arrangements, the band summons a potent and heady rock vibe.

 

As original members of the critically lauded six-piece dance rock band Jackie Treehorn, Robyn and van Deursen played a number of festivals and venues across B.C. and Alberta, including the Vancouver International Jazz Festival, Kispiox Valley Music Festival, and the Bella Coola Music Festival. As a solo performer, Robyn has graced the stages of Robson Valley Music Festival and the Komasket Music Fest, along with touring both nationally and internationally (Toronto, New York, Amsterdam, Berlin).

 

The band released their self-titled EP in early 2014, and will be bringing their new sound to a number of venues and festivals, including The Kaslo Jazz Etc. Festival and the Pender Harbour Jazz Festival, this summer.
